Products made in Kenya

Plastic, without the plastic.

Sustainable, eco-friendly packaging made from water hyacinth in Nairobi, Kenya. Seedling bags, parcel mailers, carton liners, floral wrap and custom moulds. Each one is a drop-in alternative to single-use plastic at close to plastic prices, and returns to soil in 3 to 12 months.

P-01 · Flagship

Seedling bags & wrappers

Our flagship. Planted straight into the ground with the seedling, no unwrapping, no plastic to pull off and bin. It decomposes in about six months and returns organic matter to the soil. In our field trials, seedlings in HyaPak bags outperformed the plastic-control plots. Already used in Kenya's Jaza Miti national reforestation drive.

P-03 · Cold-chain

Carton liners & sheets

Goes inside produce cartons to keep fruit and vegetables fresh over long-haul transport, reducing dependence on refrigeration. Cuts cold-chain emissions and extends shelf-life, then biodegrades at end of life instead of adding to landfill.

Flower & gift wrap

Decorative biodegradable sheets for florists, gifting and retail. Performs like cellophane, looks the part on the shelf, and returns to soil instead of sitting in landfill for centuries. A natural fit for Kenya's flower-export industry.

A supplier people come back to.

As a Kenyan biodegradable packaging supplier, HyaPak already works with national institutions, exporters and reforestation programmes, the kind of partners who only place a second order if the first one performed.

For buyers & procurement.

Whether you are a Kenyan business looking for an alternative to plastic bags or an international brand with a scope-3 target, the process is the same: tell us the product and the volume, and we send the numbers that matter to your line.

Specs & MOQs

Full technical spec sheets, dimensions, minimum order quantities and lead times, shared on request.

Test results

Independent biodegradability and performance test results available to buyers and partners on request.

Pricing

Quoted to your product and volume. We design for cost parity with the plastic you are replacing.

03Work with us

Become a pilot partner.

Most of our buyers don't switch their whole line on day one, and we wouldn't want them to. A pilot is the low-risk way in: we take one product, match the material to it, run a real batch on your line, and you see how it performs before you commit to volume. We take on a limited number of new pilot partners at a time, so each one gets real attention from our team rather than a spot in a queue.

01

Tell us what you pack

Your product, rough volumes and the market you're in. A photo or a sample helps.

02

We match and sample

We come back with the right format, a sample to handle, pricing and lead times.

03

Run a real batch

A first production run on your line, so the decision is based on evidence, not a pitch.

04

Scale what works

If it performs, we plan ongoing supply. If it doesn't, you've risked very little.
